·         Mini Reverse Raffle: THIS Friday, October 22 at 6pm, we will be having a Mini Reverse Raffle here at St. Thomas. Tickets are $30 and that gets you a dinner of Burgundy Beef Tips, Roasted Vegetable Pasta, Salad and an open bar. Additional tickets are $10. You may purchase tickets from any Board Member. Please come out and support your church! J

·         Preparing for the Raffle: To prepare for the raffle, we will need to tear down after Spaghetti Dinner this Wednesday evening at 7pm. We will be setting up for the raffle Friday morning and could use your help! Also, next Sunday after Liturgy, we'll need all the hands we can get to set the hall back up for Spaghetti Dinner. Your help is greatly appreciated!!

·         46^th  Interfaith Gathering: (Includes women of all faiths) Hosted by Orthodox Christian Women of Akron at St. George Orthodox Church,  3204 Ridgewood Road, Fairlawn, Ohio, Saturday, October 30, 2010. The schedule is as follows:

o   9:30 am Registration

o   10:00 am Worship

o   10:30 am - Presentation

o   Noon - Lunch

o   1:00 pm - Second Presentation

• Fr. Jim's New Job: So Popadia Kim can finally get health benefits, Fr Jim will be starting a new job in Beachwood.  He will be gone Monday-Friday during the day for his training, then will move to a four day work week.  Consequently, he will be available for visitations in the evenings and weekends along with his church chores.  You can leave a message on his voicemail at 330.701.3654 and he will return your call usually within one hour.
