ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Memory Eternal:  Nick Kostandaras and his Family are offering the 40 Days Service for his beloved bride, Donna.  We are also praying for the repose of Fr Blagoy, who fell asleep in the Lord on Friday in NYC.  He was the Cathedral Priest for Dedo Vladiko and was the brother of Dedo Domitian, whom many of you may remember.  Please pray for his Popadia Elisaveta

·         Many Thanks: A big thank you so George & Carol Karakis for hosting our board meeting at their home! God grant you many years!

·         OCW Membership Tea: On September 26^th, please join us as St. Thomas hosts the OCW (Orthodox Christian Women) Membership Tea. All woman are welcome to come!

·         Sunday School Clean-Up: On Saturday, September 4^th, at 10am, we will be cleaning the Sunday School rooms in order to get ready for the church school year. It will only take about an hour and all help is greatly appreciated! J

·         Church Picnic Band: We hired a wonderful band for our church picnic for $600. If 6 people would be willing to donate $100, or if 12 people would donate $50, that would cover the cost of the band and would help the church our greatly! Thanks in advance! J

·         Church Picnic: Our church picnic will be held at St. Thomas Church Grounds, Sunday, September 12th, following Divine Liturgy.  Tickets are $10.00 per family or $5.00 per person.  All tickets must be purchased by Sunday, September 5.  Tickets may be purchased from Diana Clance, Carol Karakis, or Rose Yovanovich.

·         Sunday School: The Sunday School will start Sunday, September 12^th. Sunday School registration forms are available at the candle table.  Also, here is a heads up that the Christmas Play will be Sunday, December 19^th – we need your children. Furthermore, Parents and Grandparents are welcome to volunteer to teach one of the classrooms anytime during the school year. Lesson plans will be prepared for you in advance.  Just let the teacher of the room you want to teach know when you can.  It is very rewarding and it would help out our three teachers!
