ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Memorial & Coffee Hour: The Machar Family will be having a memorial in memory of Carol Ludwig on the 4^th anniversary of her passing. They are also sponsoring coffee hour. Memory Eternal!

·         Nativity Fast: Advent starts tomorrow, November 15 and will end on December 25. Fast accordingly to you conscience.

·         Quarterly Meeting: We will have our next quarterly meeting on today, Sunday, November 14^th after Liturgy. The Sisterhood will provide a luncheon.

·         Spaghetti Dinner: Spaghetti Dinner will be closed the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, November 24^th. We will open back up the following week, December 1^st.

·         Lecture: Our next lecture will be next Sunday, November 21, over "Our responsibilities and Orthodox Christians in terms of ethics and morals." Please join us if you haven't already!

·         IOCC Sunday Dinner: On Sunday, November 21^st,  IOCC is having a dinner at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, sponsored by the Council of Orthodox Churches of Akron (COCA).  The dinner is at 6pm and the guest speaker is Nick Chakos, IOCC Development Officer. Tickets are $20. Please see Jim Waltenberger if you are interested in purchasing tickets. There are also flyers in the downstairs hall.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

·         Coffee Hour: Alex Mivev will be sponsoring Coffee Hour in memory of his mother, Maria Minev, on the anniversary of her passing.  

·         No Lecture Today: Due to the Board Meeting today, we will not be able to have our monthly lecture today. We will not be able to have it next week either, due to the Quarterly Meeting. The lecture will be in two weeks, on Sunday, November, 21^st and it will be over "Our responsibilities as Orthodox Christians in terms of ethics and morals."

·        Special Thanks!  By now you have noticed the beautiful red trim on the gold cloth underneath our kissing icons in the vestibule.  Our expert seamstress, Diana Clance, as usual, came to the rescue.  Thanks for all you do, Diana!  Thanks also to Fr Vlado for serving Divine Liturgy and his inspiring message! As always, we must keep Fr Vlado in our prayers as he lives on the road, and for Popadia Toni's health and welfare!

·         Fr. Jim is Home: Thanks to all of my Parish Family for your prayers during my drive to Texas!  By your prayers we discovered a brake line leak after we had driving through rush hour traffic while I was towing a car behind the fully loaded truck!  Pray that it does work!
